The three branches of the new Zealand government

The new zealand government is made up of three branches Legislative, Executive, Judiciary

  1. The Legislative makes the laws. The people that make the laws are the 120 MPs and the Governor General.
  2. The Executive branch ensure all areas eg health, education,and justice executes the laws. The Cabinet minister are part of the select committee.
  3. The Judiciary enforces the laws to the people. This is done through the courts and judges and police they make sure laws are not broken
